Michelle Yeager has been working in health care for over 21 years. She has practiced in multiple disciplines of nursing including Medical/Surgical, Drug and Alcohol Detox, Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Hospice, IV Therapy, and the Emergency Department. Michelle has always enjoyed teaching and has precepted both nursing students and advanced practice nursing students.
Michelle currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in an Emergency Department. At Wittenberg she is an adjunct faculty member for Medical/Surgical clinical. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Ohio Nurses Association.
Michelle started her education at Sinclair Community College where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Wright State University. In 2015 she graduated from Xavier University and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner. Michelle is currently attending Northern Kentucky University to obtain her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Michelle enjoys boating in the summer at Norris Lake in Tennessee. In her spare time she can be found reading, Irish dancing, traveling, or off-roading. Each year, Michelle and a friend put on a holiday light show in the fall and winter seasons.
