Synod Hall
Hamma thrived on campus as one of the premier Lutheran theological seminaries until 1978 when it merged with Capital University's Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. After Hamma relocated, Synod served as the location for the humanities on campus prior to the construction of Hollenbeck Hall.
Woodlawn Hall
Located across from the Benham-Pence Student Center on Alumni Way, Woodlawn Hall is in a prime central location. The building was actually the original home of Wittenberg's Beta Theta Pi fraternity until it was bought by the university in 1939.

Once the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house, the building was renovated in 1995 to accommodate the Office of Advancement and the Center for Alumni. Named after Robert '39 and Ruth K. Bayley '42 of Springfield, the Bayley Alumni House opened in May 2001.
