Summer Incentive Grant for Wittenberg Traditional Students
Summer tuition for traditional students for the 2023-2024 academic year costs $534 per credit.
Summer Incentive Grants
Because standard scholarships do not apply toward summer tuition, Wittenberg offers the Summer Incentive Grant to assist traditional students in financing summer coursework. If you receive need-based aid during the regular academic year and your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) is $20,000 or less, you may be eligible. Summer Incentive Grants are awarded in three levels, based on EFC as determined from FAFSA analysis:
$170 deducted per semester credit | EFC of $6000 or less |
$108 deducted per semester credit | EFC of $6001 - $12,000 |
$74 deducted per semester credit | EFC of $12,001- $20,000 |

For students participating in off-campus summer field study programs, a $40 per credit Summer Incentive Grant will be awarded for qualifying students.
For international students receiving need-based scholarship aid totaling $13,000 or higher during the regular academic year, a $74 per credit Summer Incentive Grant will be awarded to cover summer tuition.
