Published March 6, 2023: At Heels Down Healing, Melissa Clary, Wittenberg University class of 1990, practices a type of therapy unknown by many. As a practitioner of Equine Gestalt Therapy, Clary partners with horses to help clients navigate and heal the past trauma that may be impacting their lives. 
Published March 21, 2023: While their paths didn’t always cross during their days at Wittenberg, Vinny Del Giudice and Peter Newcomb shared a common thread on campus that led them to stellar careers in news media. 
Published May 4, 2023: Wittenberg’s focus on service pointed Shawn Hils, class of 2008, toward joining the Peace Corps following graduation. However, life had other plans for the political science major from Hiram, Ohio. 
Published May 19, 2023: John Strait '91, professor of geography at Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in Huntsville, Texas, has been awarded the 2023 Distinguished Teacher Honors Award by the American Association of Geographers. 
Published June 10, 2023: Alumni Board member Evelyn Jones '84 is on a mission to honor the impact of the late biology major Crystal Scott '82, who passed away from an aggressive form of bone cancer a few months after graduating from her beloved alma mater. 
Published July 11, 2023: For Rob Rose ’69, five decades of coaching have been about much more than the games on the field. He has been an advisor and teacher to his student-athletes, much like his professors and coaches mentored him at Wittenberg. 
Published September 1, 2023: Lessons from a good professor, golf, and inspiration from his alma mater’s beloved motto “Having light we pass it on to others,” led Todd Gailar '96 to establish The Acres two years ago with Corey Myers '04. 
Published September 12, 2023: Christina Thompson, Wittenberg class of 2021, exemplifies the liberal arts in action. Originally from Maineville, Ohio, Thompson majored in both chemistry and music at Wittenberg, combining two of her passions during her time at the University. 
Published October 24, 2023: Lead epidemiologist in the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination at the Centers For Disease Control, Kia Armstrong Bryant, Wittenberg class of 2005, is part of the data management and implementation team in the CDC’s Clinical Research Branch. 
Published November 9, 2023: Intent on being a professional opera singer, college music professor, and voice teacher when she arrived at Wittenberg, Elisabeth Schueler Jetter, class of 2010, found that life had other plans for her – the video game industry. 
Published November 17, 2023: Jordan Bamberger ’09 discovered her passion for helping others as a Wittenberg student, leading to an impactful career as a counselor at an alternative high school in rural Colorado and the creation of an unconventional soccer program to benefit everyone in the community.
