Why Wittenberg: “There are multiple reasons why I chose Witt, but the main reason is because it felt like home. Every day I walk around campus, people are friendly, smiling, laughing, and enjoying their life. I noticed this is a place that I was going to be able to build plenty of relationships and grow as an individual while being able to pursue a degree, athletic career, and get involved throughout campus. I’m proud to call Wittenberg my second home.”
1. Baseball Hat: One of the first reasons why I chose to come to Wittenberg was baseball. It has been a large part of my life and something I’m extremely passionate about. Being able to have the opportunity to have such an amazing group of guys around me helped me get the most out of my Wittenberg experience.
2. Laptop: I use my laptop for everything, so I carry my laptop everywhere because nearly every day I was on the go. I use it to study, check emails, work, research, do homework, and class work.
3. OA Shirt: I was a peer mentor and OA for the past two years. I’m always excited to meet new people on campus and welcome them to their new home. It’s a great experience and always something I look forward to at the beginning of the year.
4. Headphones: I love to listen to music, nearly every second of the day. It was vital for everything…well to me. I listened to music while I studied, worked out, walking to class, hanging out with friends, etc.
5. Delta Tau Delta Sweatshirt: I joined Delt during my freshman year and built a tremendous amount of friendships. On top of that, it was one of my first involvements on campus and pushed me to continue to involve myself through the campus.
6. Planner: In my four years at Witt, I have been constantly involved in many organizations, extracurriculars, and groups, therefore, I’ve been quite a busy person. Being able to have a tool to help manage my time has been crucial.
