A Reading and discussion series
Join us for a reading and discussion series on Islam. Led by Wittenberg University Professor of Sociology Dr. Jerry Pankhurst, we will discuss five books about the history and culture of Islam. Dr. Alejandra Gimenez-Berger will lead the discussion on Islamic art on Nov 20.
Most sessions will take place at Wittenberg University, Shouvlin Center, Room 203, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Note: the Nov. 20th event will be in Shouvlin 201.)
Participation is free and open to the public. Books will be provided to participants, but registration is required! Spaces are limited, so register early with Ken Irwin at
