Kara Seidenstricker is amazing professional volleyball fans this year as the 2016 graduate of the Early Childhood licensure program at Wittenberg elected to defer her entry into the teaching profession to pursue her passion for the sport.
While at Wittenberg, Kara played on the award winning Women’s Volleyball Team which was the first-team All-American selection for the 2015 American volleyball Coaches Association. Kara was nominated for the 2016 NCAA Woman of the year Award which honors graduating female college athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academics, athletics, service and leadership.
Kara was a standout student in the Education Department and worked in our main office during her time at Wittenberg.
Today, Kara is exploring Europe and learning German playing professional volleyball for NawaRo in Straubing, Germany. She has traveled a long way from her home in London, Ohio to pursue her passion and share her Wittenberg light.
