Fathers, Guava & Dinosaurs

Friends and family,

Today we got to sleep in...until 8. That's 2 am your time (unless you're in Portland. Hi mom!). We left for an hour bus ride to Morija to listen to a speaker, Steven, who came to Lesotho for 3 years 25 years ago and never left. He talked to us about the history of Lesotho along with some life lessons. We had a delicious lunch at Morija and checked out the art museum. Artist Patrick showed us his shop and gave us an opportunity to purchase some of his artwork. Next, we hiked up a mountain and saw dinosaur footprints. Some of us even touched them. It was beautiful!!! Tonight for dessert we had guava with guava yogurt. It fit well with yesterday's meals of guava slaw, guava jam and guava salad. We love guava.

A very happy father's day to all the fathers out there - and everyone else - from all of us in Lesotho!

Stay posted! We're building houses tomorrow. Miss you guys.
