Chapter 12: Yet Another Day to Remember

Wow, we are more than half way done with our trip and we are no where near ready for it to end. Today, we worked at the habitat work site and are so close to finishing filling in the rocks for the floor. Tomorrow is our last day to work in Ramabanta, and we leave for Roma on thursday. However, we had a special guest on site with us today; it was none other than our homie, the United States ambassador of Lesotho. He was pretty great if we do say so. He offered great life advice and inspired us with the experiences he's had the priviledge of having. Except, this was't the only special thing  about today...

If you recall, Maddy and I met some pretty awesome kids our first day here. We ended our day today in no better way than playing in the village with them. We taught them the fine art of duck, duck, goose and leap frog. As we left they serenaded us and it was probably the best we had ever heard, even though we didnt understand what they were saying.

We are going to keep it short and sweet because today was such a long and tiring day and we want to end our day looking at the remarkable sky filled with stars. However, we just want all our friends and family to know how absolutely awesome you all are. Be excited for all of the crazy stories coming your way. Keep on keeping on and have a Happy New Year!!!!

Always,

Jhena and Maddy
