Shubhik DebBurman ’91 was awarded the Professional Achievement Award, presented to alumni who have achieved outstanding distinction in their field.
Kyle Barger ’07 was awarded the "Pass It On" Wittenberg Volunteer Service Award, presented to alumni for exceptional volunteer service to the university.
Lydia Kisley ’10 was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumni Award, which recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding accomplishments in their professional careers, impressive volunteer service, and/or noteworthy involvement in professional and/or service organizations, all since graduating within the last 15 years.
Andy Bell earned the Honorary Alumnus Award, which honors individuals who, though not graduates of Wittenberg, have demonstrated exemplary loyalty and commitment to the university, and whose devotion to service embodies the institution’s motto, “Having light, we pass it on to others.”
Anup Patel ’95 named Alumnus of the Year, which celebrates alumni who have: attained a significant level of achievement in their chosen field, impacted their local communities with integrity and character, and demonstrated a continued commitment to Wittenberg.
Concerned Black Students (CBS) 1968-1969 through Ron Woods ’69, one of the founders of CBS, earned the Servant Leader Award, bestowed upon alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding service.
Elizabeth George, professor of physics, received the 2019 Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Teaching, the highest award a member of Wittenberg University's faculty can receive.
