FAFSA: Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to renew your federal and state grants, loans, and work-study, as well as your institutional need-based aid. Be sure to add Wittenberg's School Code (003143). The FAFSA must be filed each year.
The 2024 - 2025 FAFSA is now open!
Accept your Financial Aid Package: Log in to Self Service to accept/decline your financial aid package, including your federal loans. If you are a first-time borrower, you will also need to complete Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note for your loans. These requirements are available via https://studentaid.gov/. If you are unsure how to proceed with either of these steps, please refer to our online guide for more information.
Finalize Payment Options: Fall 2024 eStatements will be available in Self-Service by early June. There are many ways to finance your education at Wittenberg University! Whether you enroll in a university payment plan, utilize loans, withdrawal from a 529 plan, or make other arrangements, the earlier you make a plan, the better equipped you are to succeed.
Grant Proxy Access to your account: If you would like your parent, guardian, or another person to be able to access specific Self-Services sections you authorize, you will need to grant Proxy Access. The person granted Self-Service Proxy can log in to Self-Service using their own email address and password and see only the sections you select. These sections can include student accounts, financial aid, and grades.
Schedule a meeting with your advisor to select classes for the upcoming semester and plan for future semesters. Make sure to review your registration date and set an alarm to register as soon as you are able!
Returning Students need to complete a housing application and select housing each year they are enrolled. During the room selection process, returning students get the opportunity to select their exact room! Find out the timeline, what to expect, and when you become burbs-eligible on the housing selection webpage under “current students.”

Log in to Self Service, select “Student Planning,” then go to “My Progress” to review your progress toward graduation. If you have declared your major, you'll see progress toward your major requirements here, along with progress toward your Learning Outcomes. Questions about your Progress? Get started on the path to your future with tools and support that will focus on your values, interests, and abilities. Learn how to brand yourself through resumes, cover letters, and social media, and prepare for real-world experience that complements your education.
