AIA is aimed at expressing the cultural diversity that exists at Wittenberg University.
The history of AIA spans to the cosmopolitan club, formed in 1957. The goal of AIA is to encourage students to "embrace who they are and share it with others." It is for international students to share their culture with the American students and also for American students to share their culture with international students.
AIA hosts numerous events on campus to help both international and domestic students have a better understanding of the diverse cultures in the world. AIA provides opportunities for social activities and campus involvement that helps promote the understanding of different cultures. We host events such as, crossroads (ethnic food prepared by students), holi (Indian festival of colors), sushi night and so on.
